I search for email but not all the messages show up in the results!

Sometimes when you search for emails in Windows mail, not all messages matching the search shows up in the search results. Read this article to know why.

Well you just need to wait for some time and search it again. The reason behind this is that when Windows Mail in Vista, downloads a message, it immediately adds the email addresses and message title to the search index. But the body of the message is indexed along with all of the other Windows files, and may not be added to the index immediately.

So just hang on for sometime and search it once again.
Also, Windows Mail only searches the currently selected folder for messages. For example, if you select the Sent Items folder, messages in the Inbox, Outbox, and other folders won't be included in the search results.
