Additional Wii Remote not working with the console
You have to sync your remote with your Wii console for it to start working.

The Wii Remote you get along with your console comes pre-synced with it. If you want to add any addtional remotes then you must sync them to the Wii console before they can be used.
- Ensure you have inserted the batteries in the Wii Remote. Click here to see how.

- Switch on the Power button on the console.

- Remove the battery cover from the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up, and press the SYNC button that is just below the batteries. The Player LED will blink.

- Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of your Wii console and press the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.

- The Player LED stops blinking stops and the LED would indicate the player number. The syncing is complete.

- This above steps must be followed for each additional Wii Remote you add to your Wii console.
- If you still have trouble, click here to redirect to Wii website for customer service options.
