Syncing a new controller to the Wii console
Follow the procedure given in this article to sync a second Wii controller to your console.
You need to follow these steps to sync a second Wii remote (the remote that comes with the console is pre-synced at the factory).

- Switch on your Wii console and let it boot.
- Open the battery cover. Insert the batteries into the controller.
- Press the sync button on the new controller beside the battery pack. All the blue LEDs on the controller will start blinking.

- On the console, open the SD card slot and press the sync button.

- The blue LEDs on the controller will stop blinking and one will light up indicating the player number.
