Can I change Computer's Date, Time and Time Zone in Windows Vista?

Follow these steps and you can change time, date and time zone (including DST) in Windows Vista.

To change the computer's date, time and time zone including Daylight Savings (DST) in Windows Vista, please follow the following steps.

How to change Date & Time
  1. Click on Start and then Control Panel.


  2. Now click on Date and Time.
    Note:.You will get a screen which will say Date and Time.

  3. Click on the Tab which says Change date and time.

  4. Change the date by clicking on whichever date you want to choose.

  5. Now change the time as per your requirement in this screen by adjusting the upper arrow and the lower arrow next to the time display and click OK.

How to change Time Zone


If you want to change the time zone and also want to adjust your Daylight Saving Time(DST) please follow the following steps.
  1. Click on Change time zone on the main Date and Time screen.

  2. Now you can click on the time zone and select the time zone by clicking on the drop down menu.

  3. You can also adjust your Clock in Vista for Daylight Saving Time. Check the box which says Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Saving Time and click OK.


  4. So adjust your clock, plan your dates and be in the right zone!
