ReadyBoost allows you to plug in a flash memory stick or SD card to store frequently used files for quicker access than off the hard drive.

Let me tell you how to switch on this feature. Also make a note that this works only with USB 2.0 devices or SD cards.

  1. First of all, connect the flash drive or the SD card.
  2. Click on speed up my system and that will take you to the ReadyBoost panel.
