Real Player is one of the most popular music management programs out of the players available now. Real Player 10 is the latest, which can be downloaded with lots of features. One of the main features that Real Player 10 gives is the ability to copy music directly from the CDs and store them on your hard drive. Lets follow the below steps to copy music from CDs using Real Player 10.
  1. Put the CD into the computer CD Drive.
    Note: A window might pop up which says ‘ audio CD’, just close the screen.
  2. Now open Real Player.
  3. Go to the “music and my library” window and under View, click on CD/DVD.
  4. Real Player will display the number of songs on the CD. If you wish you can manually name them by right clicking it.
  5. Click Save Tracks under the tasks on the left side of the screen.
  6. You can see a tab called save tracks. Click on it and check if all the songs that you have selected are there or not.
  7. Now in the save tracks box you can click on Change settings and you can save the songs in MP3 format or you can change the audio quality or the location of file where you want to save it. These changes in settings can be done by going to the Preferences window in Real Player.
  8. Now if you have made any changes, click on OK under preferences window, Click OK to accept it. Now you will be back to save tracks screens.
  9. Once you click on OK, it will start copying. The one named “Status” is the one to watch. Un-copied songs will display as “Pending”. As their turn comes up, a progress bar will appear to show they are being copied. Once copied, “Pending” changes to “Saved”.
  10. Now once all the songs are copied, you can take out the CD
So this way, you will be able to copy successfully all the songs to your hard disk.
