How to delete temporary Internet files



To delete the temporary Internet files and cookies, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Internet Options.

  3. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Settings.  Do the following:

    • Click View Files.

    • Hold Ctrl + A to select all the files.
    • Press DEL key or click Delete option on the top.
    • On confirmation, click Yes.

    • Close the window.
  4. Click Delete Cookies and click OK to confirm delete.
  5. Click Delete Files and click Yes to confirm delete.
  6. Click Clear History and click Yes to confirm.
  7. Click OK to apply and close the window.

  8. Shut down and restart your computer and check.
Remove or disable the firewalls, internet security or any proxy software on your computer and check the connection once again.  If you find the problem in one of these programs then, check the manufacturer's manual to fix the problem.
