Setting up Hotmail account to Outlook

This article explains how to configure your Hotmail account with Outlook.

If you want to access your Hotmail Account with Outlook we need to configure it. Lets follow the below mentioned few simple steps and we will be done.
  1. Open Outlook and select tools and then email accounts.
  2. Now select Add a new email account.
  3. Now click on Next.
  4. In the server type box please click on HTTP.
  5. Click on Next.
  6. Type in your name under the Name box.
  7. Under email address type in your Hotmail address.
  8. Now type in your password also.

    So there you are...You can access your Hotmail account through Outlook.
Note:- Support for Hotmail was only introduced in Outlook 2002, we can not do so with Outlook 2000.
