How to transfer photos from Phone to PC

Get your photos off your phone to your personal computer!

First off, transferring photos from your phone to PC depends on the phone you have or purchased.   The following are some options that you may have.

If you option to connect directly:

Some phones might have an option to connect directly to PC.  You need to buy a data cable for your phone model and install the sync software that comes along with it to transfer files and other stuff onto your computer.

If your phone has USB support:

If you know that your phone supports a USB connection, you need to buy a usb port that is suitable for your phone model and can connect to your computer.   Not all USB connectors are same, hence you need to check before you buy them.  Best thing to do is to go to a store personally and buy it rather than buying online.

Important:  You might need a software from your service provider to transfer the photos.

Wireless transfer of Photos:

Some phones have BlueTooth or Infrared technology and can transfer photos through it.  But many phones might not be able to do it as that function has been blocked.   If you are using a Mac, the software which has a facility of wireless photo transfer might also not work.

Buy a phone with Memory card option:

The best way of transferring photo's are through a phone which has a provision of a memory card.  You can directly store photos on the memory card and simply remove it and copy the photo's onto your computer by using a USB card reader.  Ensure the memory card's format matches with the card reader.

Important:  Just ensure that memory card you are using is not blocked on the phone brand that you are buying.  (Sometimes manufacturers do that).
