What are the components we need to configure Apple TV to iTunes?
Here are the components that we need to know about before configuring Apple TV to iTunes
Lets see what we need to configure Apple TV and how to get connected to enjoy iTunes Store content.
We need the following 4 items:
Wide screen TV
You can connect Apple TV to a wide screen enhanced definition TV that has an HDMI port using an HDMI cable for both video and audio, or Component video (Y, Pb, and Pr) ports using a component video cable with green, blue, and red connectors, and an audio cable or DVI port using an HDMI-to-DVI cable for video and audio cable
or
You can also connect Apple TV to a home theater receiver.
Network
Either a Wireless or Ethernet network or Broadband internet connection (DSL, Cable, LAN).
Cables
The cable that you need to have is HDMI-to-HDMI cable. You can also have an HDMI-to-DVI cable and analog stereo or optical digital audio or Component video cable and analog stereo or optical digital audio.
Computer+iTunes
You can have either a Macintosh Computer or a Windows Computer.
Macintosh:-
Windows Computer: -

- QuickTime 7.1.5 or later (included with iTunes 7.1).
- 512 MB of RAM and 32 MB of Video RAM.
