How to Download and Install YPOPs! for Free Yahoo Mail
Some ground work before configuring your free Yahoo Mail to an email client.
YPOP's is a small free program which helps you in configuring your Free Yahoo Mail account to any POP3 email client. Following are the list of email clients YPOPs support.
- Becky 2.x
- Calypso 2.x/3.x
- Eudora
- FoxMail
- Incredimail
- Lotus Notes R6
- Microsoft Outlook Express 5, 5.5, 6
- Microsoft Outlook 2000
- Microsoft Outlook XP
- Mozilla Mail
- Netscape Mail
- nPOP
- Pegasus
- Pocomail
- The Bat
- Click here to get to the downloads page for YPOPs.
- Click on "YPOP's/Windows 0.8.8" to download it. YPOPs works on the PC with Windows 9x, Me, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.
- You should see a dialog box asking you to save the install file. Click Save File.
- After the file is downloaded, double-click on it to install.
- Follow the simple wizard steps to install.
- In the installation process, you will be prompted with dialog box saying whether to run YPOPs everytime when windows starts. Click Yes and keep this option active as it should run before you run Outlook and it doesn't suck up physical memory.
- You should see the following icon on your system tray that shows YPOPs running on your computer.
