Xbox360 : Error message “ Connection terminated “.

Error Messages in Xbox 360 console can be either of the following. Connection Terminated or The Xbox 360 has unexpectedly disconnected from the Media Center PC. The error can be caused by network congestion, a network disconnect or because the PC has been turned off. Would you like to reconnect?

Note : If your computer is attached to a domain then there might be a chance that group Policy setting prevents the Xbox console from connecting to the computer.

Follow the steps to check whether group Policy settings are causing the connection issue.
                         

•      Detach the computer from the domain temporarily.
•      Restart Computer.
•      Add Xbox 360 console as an Extender again.

       This should now resolve the problem.
