How to reopen accidentally closed webpage on Firefox
Browser crashed - Firefox add-on to restore all the previous sessions
Open the browser where you left: Firefox
Don't worry if your previous session on the browser gets closed! Here's a spell to fix it!
Session Manager add-on is one of those wonderful developement of Firefox, that can remember the pages and tabs you had opened earlier. So now, you need not have to worry that you have accidentally closed your browser because the next time you reopen your browser, it will show up the same pages and the same tabs, in the same order - exactly as you missed it!
This is very important tool for those who do research and have multiple pages open. If you have a system crash, all you need to do is to restart Windows and open firefox. There you are!
Important Note: If you have other browsers like IE or Netscape etc., installed in your computer, use those browsers to view this article as you need to close and restart Mozilla Firefox browser a couple of times for it to refresh the colors and settings.
The following steps will work only if you have the latest version of Firefox (2.0). If you have older version (1.0 or 1.5), Click here to download and upgrade your browser to the latest version.
To add a brain to your browser, follow the steps below:
- Open Mozilla Firefox browser.
- Using your Firefox browser, browse this site: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2324.
- Click on the download file and the browser would ask you to install the file.
- Click on Install.
- After the installation is complete, click on Restart Firefox.
You are done!
If you have accidentally closed your browser and want to get back the web page, do the following after you install Session Manager add-on:
- Click Tools -> Session Manager -> you will find the recently closed web pages under Closed Windows.
