Error message:"Page Cannot be Displayed" while browsing the internet.
You are browsing the Internet on windows XP-based computers and ... you encounter “The page cannot be displayed” Error message in the process! Follow the steps in this article. It explains just what to do.
Note: If the Internet Service Provider (ISP) DNS server does not resolve the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) addresses, then this issue may occur.
The DNS server should be changed to solve the problem.
Here’s how:
Note: Type the server addresses that are closest to you. For example, 199.5.157.128 for the Preferred DNS, and Alternate 204.57.55.100.

Here’s how:
- Click Start.
- Click Control panel.

- Double click Network Connections.

- Right-click local area connection, click Properties.

- Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click Properties

- Click Use the Following DNS server Addresses

- Now type valid addresses for Preferred DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server, click OK to resolve the issue.
