Xbox 360 error message: “Some profiles could not be signed into Xbox Live. There may be network problems."
This error message is displayed when you try to sign in to your Xbox Live account on an Xbox 360 console and it rejects your profile. To sign in to your account management follow these steps.
| The account that you are trying to sign in to is rejected as invalid because the account has been recovered on a different Xbox 360 console. Note: An update was released and slipstreamed to all Xbox Dashboard users. Most likely, you will not overwrite any saved games when you follow these steps. Important: Do not delete the "bad" profile on the Xbox 360 console when you are trying to recover the profile. |

Follow the steps to sign in.
- Press the Guide button on your Xbox controller.
- Select Recover Gamertag from Xbox Live.
- Enter the gamertag account that you want to recover.
- Enter the Windows Live ID credentials (the e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live ID).
- Select Yes, when you receive a message stating that the profile is already on the HDD/MU and asks if you want to replace the profile.
You can now sign in, access the account management options, and play games.
