Xbox 360 Error message: “Original Xbox games are blocked by Family Settings”.

The above error message is generated when the family settings on the Xbox 360 console are set to block original Xbox games.

Follow the procedure below to modify the Family settings...
  • Select Family Settings > Press A button in the System section of the Xbox Dashboard.

  • Select Xbox Live Controls > Press A button.

  • Type the same password that you had set in the console.

  • Select Original Xbox Games > Press A button.

  • Select Allowed > Press A button.

  • Select Done > Press A button.

  • Select Yes to save the changes
Note: By default, playing original Xbox games is allowed.
