Insert SIM and Battery: Sony Ericsson K790a

Get an insight into technical know hows of putting together the SIM card and Battery before the phone is ready for use!



Insert SIM card (Subscriber Identity Module) is easily available at any service provider. All you need to do is register as a subscriber to get one. It is an electronic computer chip that when inserted into a mobile identifies the subscriber to the network. It contains the User’s phone number as well as has capacity to store personal phone numbers and lots of other information. Sometimes you may also use the same SIM card in another phone, so it is better to save the phone numbers in the SIM rather than in the phones’memory.

Follow the 8 easy steps:

  1. Slide the Battery cover open on the rear side of the telephone.
  2. Slide in the SIM card ensuring the gold contacts to face down and the cut off corner properly aligned. Insert Battery
  3. Fit the battery label side up and the connectors facing each other.
  4. Slide the battery cover into place securely.
  5. Slide the Battery cover open on the rear side of the telephone.
  6. Fit the battery label side up and the connectors facing each other.
  7. Slide the battery cover into place securely.

You have now successfully inserted your SIM card!
