Contact Information on Sony Ericsson K790a
All contact information is available in the phone’s memory or the SIM card. Let us see how to access this info.
Choose the type of contact information:select Phone Contacts or SIM Contacts shown as default.
For useful information and settings go to > Contacts > More > Options
Default
If your phone contact is selected as default your contacts shows all the information stored in Contacts. If your SIM contact is selected as default, your contact shows information depending on the SIM card.
To select default contacts
- > Contacts> More > Options > Advanced > Default Contacts
- >Phone Contacts Or SIM Contacts
Phone Contacts:You can save contacts in the phone with names, numbers and personal information. You can also add ringtones and pictures to contacts. Let us see how to add a phone contact:
- Select Phone Contact > Contacts > New Contacts > Add
- Enter the Name and OK
- Enter the Number and OK
- Select a number
- Scroll between tabs and select the fields to add information.
- >More>Add symbol select a symbol > Insert
- Save
Here’s how to delete a contact:
- > Contacts and scroll to a contact
- > Press ‘C’ and select Yes
- Contacts > More > Options > Advanced > Delete Contacts > Yes > Yes
SIM Contacts: Save contacts on your SIM.
To add a SIM contact here’s what to do:
- Select SIM Contact > Contacts > New Contacts > Add
- Enter the Name and OK
- Enter the Number and OK
- Select a number
- Scroll between tabs and select to add information.
- Save
Here’s how to automatically save names and numbers on a SIM:
- Contacts > More > Options > Advanced > Auto Save on SIM>ON
To view Memory status:
- Contacts > More > Options > Advanced > Memory Status
