Sending Picture Messages Option on Sony Ericsson K790a

You can do something more creative, beyond sending only simple text messages. Picture Messages can have text pictures, video clips, camera pictures, slides, sound recordings, signatures and attachments. Read on to learn how to send picture messages.



You can send picture messages to a mobile phone or an email address. Both you and the recipient must have subscriptions that support picture messaging. Before sending a picture message you can check….

The address of your message server and internet profile are set:

  1. > Messaging > Setting > Picture Message > MMS Profile and select a profile > More > Edit > Message Server > More > Edit > Internet Profile

To create and send a picture message:

  1. > Messaging > Write New > Picture Message > More to view a list of items to add to your message. Select an item
  2. > More to add more items to the message. For specific item options select the item > More and select the item type to edit.
  3. When ready to send > Continue
  4. > Enter Email address or > Enter phone number or > Contacts Lookup to retrieve a number or a group in contacts or select from last used recipients > Send

Note: When writing and editing picture messages you can use the copy and paste functionality.

To set default picture message options:

  1. > Messaging > Settings > Picture Messages and select options to change

Additional Send options:
Request a read report, delivery report, and set a priority for a specific message. You can also add more recipients to the message.

To select additional send options:

When a message is created and a recipient is selected
  1. > More Add Recipient to add another recipient or > Edit Recipients to edit and add recipients > Edit Subject to change the message subject or > Advanced for more send options.
