Create an Email Account on your Sony Ericsson K790a

Did you know that you can read, reply and forward email messages on your phone as you would on your computer? The email address that you use on your computer can be used on your phone. Once you’ve’ got the email settings organised on your phone you can create an email account.



Here’s how you do it.
  1. > Messaging > Email > Settings > New Account >Add
  2. Enter a name for the account > OK. For help > Setup Instructions > Info in settings
  3. Press button for settings and enter the following minimum required settings.
  • Email alert: Select the alert sound for new messages.
  • Connect Using: Select a data account (provided by your service provider > Info)
  • Connection Type (POP3 or IMAP4)
  • Incoming Server: Enter server name.
  • Username: Enter the user name for the email account.
  • Password: Enter the password for the email account.
  • Outgoing Server: Enter the server name
Great! you are now ready to receive and send mails!
