Shield you TV from flying Wiimotes

The Nintendo Wii's wireless gyroscopic controller, which you can swing to simulate a baseball bat, golf club, and so on, is great fun. That is, until someone gets hurt. Someone being your TV screen!

Sure, there are plenty of options for protecting your beloved flat screen from a flying Wiimote, such as stronger straps, or even, you know, restraint, but why employ those boring methods, when you can simply slip a big, plastic guard over your bigscreen LCD?

Taiwanese TV maker LCDArm has come out with a shield that will fit 30 to 46-inch screens, has an invisible frame, 98% transparency, and also claims to reduce UV rays from the TV.

No price or release date on the product yet, though according to the company website it is most assuredly forthcoming.
