Battery icon flashes when charging is in progress and stops once charging is done.
Note: Make sure your battery is connected properly to the connectors.

Battery connection is bad:
The battery connection of the phone should not be damaged. Remove the battery and use a soft brush/cloth
soaked with alcohol and check for the battery to be dry before you replace it.

Take another battery and charger of the same phone model and try it. Or else contact your retailer about the problem.
