iPod Error Message: 'There was an error downloading your purchased music. An unknown error occurred (-50)'

Well, this usually happens when the connection timeout occurs while downloading purchased video content from the iTunes store.
Lets explain the steps what you need to resolve the issue:
Generally deleting the cached video files of the download, and starting the download again from the beginning, resolves this issue. First of all we need to look for cached video downloads.

Generally deleting the cached video files of the download, and starting the download again from the beginning, resolves this issue. First of all we need to look for cached video downloads.
- We need to look for the download folders on your system. These can be found in the following locations:
- For Mac users:
the home directory/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Downloads. - For Windows Vista:
Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Downloads\ - For Windows XP and 2000
- Open My Computer and double click on Local Disk C:

- Double click on Documents and Settings.

- Double click on User name and open My Documents.

- You will get My Music there. Double click and look for iTunes here.

- Double click on iTunes and open iTunes Music folder.

- Now you will be able to locate the Download folder in iTunes Muisc.
- Open My Computer and double click on Local Disk C:
- For Mac users:
- Now look for the folder that contains the cached video file for this purchase.
- In windows Vista, The folder will be named with the extension .tmp
- In windows XP and 2000 the folder will be named with the extension m4v.tmp
- Delete the .tmp folder for the affected purpose video.
- Open iTunes.
- From the store menu, choose Check for Purposes.
- Now enter your account name and password and click the check button.
