How to add/edit/delete system user groups on Ubuntu
There are simples way to add/edit/delete system user groups, which we will discuss in this article.
Add/Edit/Delete User Groups
Adding User Group
-
Go to System > Administration > User and Groups

-
User settings window is shown. Click on Manage Groups

Groups settings popup is shown. Click on Add Group button

New group popup is shown. Enter Group Name. Click on OK. Group gets created successfully.
Editing Group
-
Go to System > Administration > User and Groups. Click on Manage Groups
- Select a Group and click on Properties. Group Properties window is shown.
- Edit Group name and Group ID. Click on OK. Group is edited successfully.

Deleting Group
- Go to System > Administration > User and Groups. Click on Manage Groups
- Select a group from Group setting. Click on Delete

Confirmation popup is shown. Click on Delete. Group gets deleted successfully.
