Unable to transfer videos to my iPod

If you see the the following error message, it means that iTunes is unable to read the format of one or more files that was synced up.

iTunes can play wide range of video formats but the Fifth Generation iPod only plays specific video formats. Any stuff purchased from iTunes music store is playable on iPod.

Sometimes, you might have problems with podcasts as it is submitted by individual authors.  So, it might not be playable on your iPod. If the podcasts are encoded to play with iPod then you should not have any issue.

Videos downloaded from external sources might not be in the format that can be played on iPod.  With the help of iTunes or Quick Time Pro, you can convert your movies to an iPod compatible format. Follow the guide below to convert movies to your iPod.
