Setup PlayStation 2 for Cox HSI

To setup your PlayStation2 for Cox HSI you need to ensure that you have all the proper equipment - a network adapter, a memory card, and a Cox HSI account. Let me guide you through a step by step method for an easy setup.

  1. Ensure that you have all equipment including networking adapter for your PS2 and memory card with Cox HSI account.

  2. Start your PS2 with Network setup CD.  On the screen, select the ISP Setup.  Click X Button on your PS2 controller.

  3. Press the X Button to start the setup process.

  4. You should get a message saying found a network adapter.  If you don't, then you need to check whether you have installed your network adapter properly.
  5. Click the X Button to continue.

  6. You can edit the ISP setting or create a new one.  Let's create a new one here.

  7. Choose New and press the X Button.

  8. Using the on-screen keyboard, key-in a name for our ISP setting.

  9. Press ENTER on the keyboard to continue.

  10. Choose High Speed Connection (Cable or DSL) option and press the X Button.

  11. Select Automatic Settings and press the X Button.

  12. Choose NO and press the X Button.

  13. Choose NO and press the X Button.

  14. The connection will be automatically tested.

  15. You should now be able to get connected online for gaming. If you have trouble or getting any errors, re-check your installation and setup.

  16. Press X Button to save current settings.

  17. Press X Button again to finish.
