Sending Emails to a Verizon Phone
Its not just SMS, its Emails sent from the Internet.
That's right! You can get emails in the form of SMS on your phone straight from the Internet. All you need to know is your cell phone's email address.
Your mobile phone carrier has something called as an "SMS gateway" which pulls up the email message and pushes it into your cell phone as an SMS text message. All you need to do is to suffix @vtext.com to your phone number and there you go!
For eg: If your phone number is 123-456-7890, your Verizon phone email address is 1234567890@vtext.com.
Isn't that simple! You can surprise your buddies who use Verizon phones by emailing them. Remember just suffix @vtext.com to their phone numbers.
Have Fun!!!
