Setting up Bluetooth® Handset and Headset for LG Chocolate Verizon

There is a step by step procedure you need to follow to set up your bluetooth handset and headset for LG Chocolate Verizon.

There are three separate steps are:
  1. Enable Bluetooth functionality on the LG Chocolate.
  2. Put your fully charged Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
  3. Pair the LG Chocolate with a Bluetooth Accessory.

Step1.  Enable Bluetooth functionality on the LG Chocolate.
  1. Press the OK key to bring up the main menu.
  2. Press the left navigation key and scroll to Settings and Tools, then press OK.
  3. Scroll to Bluetooth and press OK.
  4. Press the left Soft key to turn bluetooth on.


    Screen displays Bluetooth on.


Step2. Put your fully charged Bluetooth headset into pairing mode.
  1. Start with your Bluetooth accessory powered off.
  2. Hold down the power/end key for 5 seconds.
  3. You'll hear a short beep and the LED light turns red.
  4. Your Bluetooth accessory is now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with your handset.

Step 3. Pair the LG Chocolate with a Bluetooth Accessory.
  1. From the Bluetooth menu, scroll to Add New Device and tap OK.
  2. Phone displays Place Device You are Connecting In Discoverable Mode, tap OK.
    The above step will automatically forward through in 3 seconds.
    Phone displays Searching.   
  3. Scroll to XXXAccessory NameXXX, tap PAIR [OK].
    Phone displays Enter Passkey.
  4. Enter 0000, tap OK.
    Phone displays Connect To XXXAccessory NameXXX?
  5. Scroll to Yes, tap OK.
    Phone displays Connecting.
    Phone displays Bluetooth connection to XXXAccessory NameXXX complete.
