Controling Receiving Picture/Video messages on a Picture/Video Messaging Phone

Picture/video messages are not always welcome on your phone. You might want to reject the picture or video... Lets see here, how this can be done!

Your Verizon picture/video-messaging phone is configured to automatically download and display new picture/video messages.

But at any point of time if you want a notification about when a new picture/video message is received ("prompt mode"), you can always configure your picture/video messaging phone.

You will receive a non-billable notification if you are in prompt mode before a new picture/video message is downloaded to your phone. This notification will include the sender's email address or phone number, and gives you the option of downloading the picture/video message, delaying download until a later time, or rejecting the picture/video message.

If you reject the picture/video message, it will not be downloaded and you will not be charged for that message.

For instructions on how to configure your phone to prompt mode, please refer to your phone manufacturer's user manual.
