Setup the Wireless Sync Settings on Verizon Moto Q

You can instruct your device when to sync and send emails. See how!

Yes, you can instruct your device in such a way that it will not disturb you on your weekends with emails on your wireless device.  Follow the steps given below:

1. 

Select Start by pressing the left soft key.
2.
Navigate to Wireless Sync then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to Select it.
 3.
Select Settings and press the center key of the 5-way navigation pad.
 4.

Select When to Sync option and press the center key of the 5-way navigation pad.
 5. Verify the following settings and press the left soft key to OK the settings.
  • Check the box adjacent to Push (This option synchronizes automatically when a new email comes in)
  • Uncheck Timed interval (This is for a timed sync)
  • Check the box adjacent to Limit Sync to (Limits the sync by days of the week and time)
  • Check the box that says Disable for low battery (This option determines the minimum battery required to start  Wireless Sync operation)

  • Check the box Initiate connection (This allows Wireless Sync to start a connection)
  • Check the box that says Power on device (This allows Wireless Sync to start every time your device is powered on)
  • Check the box that says Use network push (This allows email to be pushed automatically to the device)
