Formatting a Memory Card on Nokia N70
Formatting a memory card is easy. It is just that you may lose all the stored data. You need to first check with your retailer if your memory card needs formating as some come preformatted.
To format a memory card:
- Press the Menu key > Tools / Settings > Memory card > Options > Format mem. card
- Select Yes to confirm.
- When formatting is complete, enter a name for the memory card, and select OK.
Note: Your Nokia device supports the FAT32 file system for memory cards. If you use a memory card from another device or if you want to ensure compatibility of the memory card with your Nokia device, you may need to format the memory card with your Nokia device.
