Why do I get a error code BL003, rejected message when i mail Comcast?

Mail servers are typically shared by many users so it may be the case that another party using your mail server has sent spam, even if you have not. For that reason your mail is returned with an error message.

  • In order to protect Comcast subscribers, some mail servers are blocked from sending email to the Comcast network. Emails of some patterns are  subject to spam and so they are filtered by Comcast.net

How do I get my IP removed from the blocklist?

  • Contact your email administrator for outbound spam problem in order to avoid blocking your email by Comcast in the future. It is always better you include the error message when contacting your email administrator, which helps your email administrator resolve this issue easily.


NOTE: Removal requests can be sent to Comcast support along with IP address of the blocked mail server.  Requests submitted through this form are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure a timely response.
