Motorola C650: Transfer Files (Pictures, Audio, Video) Using USB Cable Via PC

You will need to install the Mobile Phone Tools software onto your computer. After the program has been installed, the PC will prompt the user to select a Profile to be used for the Motorola C650 Mobile Phone Tools.

  • Please select 'Use a default profile' and select OK.

  • 'Welcome to the Phone setup Wizard' prompt will appear.

  • You should be able to see the various types of connections such as USB Cable, Blue Tooth, Infrared and Serial Cable.

  • Select USB Cable and click Next.



  • Plug in the cable to the PC and then to the Motorola C650 handset.

  • A clock will appear on the PC.
    Note: Please be reminded to only plug in the cable after the software is installed and to be sure that your Motorola C650 handset is switched ON.

  • After a few minutes, the skin of your Motorola C650 handset will appear on the screen.

  • The PC will read the phone data by showing 'Initialization' on the screen of the skin.
    Note: It will take some time, please be patience.

  • Your network provider's name will appear on the screen. This shows that the link is ready to be used.

  • Now, you can Transfer Files (Pictures, Audio, Video) from PC to your Motorola C650 Via USB Cable. Enjoy!
