So what you have to do is, contact your service provider to upgrade the service to receive the binary files like ringtones.

So what you have to do is, contact your service provider to upgrade the service to receive the binary files like ringtones.
- Alternatively, what you can do is, if you know a friend who can receive ringtones, use his/her GSM (PCS) chip in your phone.
- Now send the ringtone that you want to his/her telephone number.
- After the ringtone is received on that phone, save the ringtone, and put the GSM (PCS) chip back into your phone.
- Your phone will now have the ringtone that you sent.
