Some older version of voicemail and IVR systems do not work  with default DTMF tones in Treo 600. If your Extra Digits fail to be recognized or cannot adjust the timing accurately to get a response then turn off the Short DTMF option.

To do this follow these steps:

  • Press Phone.

  • Press Menu.

  • In the Menu option > select Phone Preferences.

  • Uncheck the box for Enable Short DTMF Tones.

  • Select OK.
