• Treo 600 smartphone on the Verizon Wireless network.

• HotSync Manager 4.1.0 or greater Windows version or 4.0 ( Mac): This is part of the Palm Desktop installation included on Treo 600 CD.
  
  
• Treo 600 battery fully charged.
  
  
• 12MB/1,200KB(Mac) or 6MB/6,000 KB ( Windows) free memory: This is the size of free memory available on your Treo 600.The free mamory accommodates the update application on the device,the application will be removed from the device and the memory freed when the update is completed.
  
  
• For Microsoft Outlook users who use PocketMirror: PocketMirror version 3.1.2 or later: The installation CD for Treo includes version 3.1.2 or you can download latest version.
  
  
• You must update the computer with which treo 600 is synchronized by installing the necessary
  softwares( i.e a user folder for the Treo exists on the computer).
  
  
• Must synchronize with your current user name: You may have several user names stored on your desktop computer. Make sure that you synchronize with the user name on your Treo 600 or you will lose the data.
