Motorola Razr V3M Verizon Phone display says "Insert SIM"
About SIM Installation: When you insert the SIM card in your phone you need to do so with care.....
Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card stores your phone number and other information.
Turn off your phone and remove your battery before you install or remove a SIM card.
Make sure your SIM card is inserted correctly. There is a notch taken out of the SIM card on one corner that will allow the SIM card to fit into the phone only one way. If your SIM card appears visibly damaged, you will need to return it to your service provider. Make sure the SIM contacts are clean. If they are dirty, clean them with a dry, antistatic cloth. If these suggestions do not work, you will need to contact your cellular service provider; they may have to issue you a new SIM card.
Caution: Don’t bend or scratch your SIM card. Keep it away from static electricity, water, and dirt. Your Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card contains personal information like your phone number and contacts entries. It can also contain your voicemail, text message, and Internet access settings. If you put your SIM card in another phone, that phone uses your phone number.
