Transfer Pictures from Mac
It’s very simple to transfer pictures from Mac to Treo 600 smartphone.
All pictures are stored in the Camera appliction on Treo 600(GSM) of the pictures application on Treo 600(Sprint) no matter from where they come. Like
- Built-in Camera.
- Emails attachments.
- MMS messages (Photo messages).
- Beamed from another device.
- Transfer from a desktop computer via HotSync.
After installing the lastest version of Palm Desktop for Treo 600 a Treo Pictures folder will be created on your computer.the contents of this folder are your key to photo management on your PC.
- Launch Palm Desktop on your PC.
- Click on the Treo Pictures icon on the left side of the screen.
- Open the folder with the user name for your Treo 600.
- You will see one folder for each category in the Camera/Pictures Application and also a Transfer folder. Open that folder.
- Copy JPEG images into Transfer folder.
- Execute a HotSync operation to move these pictures to the Camera/Pictures Application on Treo 600.

You can directly go to the Treo Pictures Tranfer folder, which is located in one of these places(depends upon setup).
C:\Program Files\Palm\Treo Pictures\(username)\TransferCopy a JPEG image into this folder and perform a Hotsync operation to move these pictures to the Camera/Pictures

Transfer Pictures from Mac
It’s very simple to transfer pictures from Mac to Treo 600 smartphone.
- Use email application on your Mac computer to send an email with the JPEG attachment to the account used by your Treo 600.
- Now use your Treo 600 to receive the email with the attachment. When you download the attachment with your Treo 600, it will automatically transfer to the Camera/Pictures application on your device.
- The maximum size for images to be transferes is 2048 x 2048 pixels (4.1 megapixels).Anything larger will need to be resized on your desktop computer before being sent to your smartphone.
- HotSync operation will take more time for large pictures.
