Following is a list of iPod accessories that you will need quite often. Keep these items accessible and get to know them so you can use them to the optimum.

Dock connector to USB cable: This cable can be used with the dock or plugged directly into iPhone. You can use the cable to connect
  1. iPhone to your computer to sync and charge
  2. to the power adapter to charge.
  
USB Power Adapter: You can use it to charge your iPhone. Connect the power adapter to iPhone using the included cable, then plug it into a standard power outlet.
Cleaning cloth: You can use it to wipe the iPhone screen.

  

Stereo handset: You can do a lot of things with this stereo handset.
  1. Listen to music
    When you are listening to iPod, click the mic button once to play or pause a song. Click twice quickly to skip to the next track.
  2. Watch videos
  3. Take phone calls
    Use the built in microphone to talk. Click the mic button to answer or end the call
Dock: You can connect the dock to your computer or to the power adapter using the cable. Then set iPhone in the dock so that it can stand upright as it charges or syncs. You can also connect your external speakers to the line out port on the back of the dock using an audio cable that has a standard 3.5-millimeter stereo miniplug.
