iPhone Fundamentals: External Buttons
Know your iPhone better....
iPhone is designed for usage with ease minus any complications. Here are some functions that iPhone buttons perform.
Lock iPhone:
You can lock the touch screen, if you using your iPhone only to receive calls and text messages. When locked the iPhone will not respond when you touch the screen but you can still go ahead and
To lock your iPhone, press the Sleep/Wake button on the top.
Unlock iPhone:

- Listen to music
- Adjust the volume
- Play or Pause a song
- Answer or End a call.
To lock your iPhone, press the Sleep/Wake button on the top.
Unlock iPhone:
- Press the home key or Sleep/Wake button on the top.
- Drag the slider to unlock.
Turn iPhone off:
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for few seconds until the red slider appears on the touch screen.
- Drag the slider to switch the iPhone off.
Turn iPhone on:
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until Apple logo appears on the iPhone screen.
