Adding and Editing Contacts Directly on iPhone
Different ways to add and edit contacts straight to iPhone.
iPhone lets you view and add contact information directly from Phone, Mail and Text application.
Edit a contact’s phone number, address and other information
To edit, tap Contacts and choose a contact and then tap edit
Pauses are required in some situation by phone numbers just before an extension or password.
Tap
and then press pause.
Adding a recent caller’s information to your contacts.
You need to Tap Recent and tap
. Now tap Create New Contact and enter the caller’s information, or tap Add to Existing Contact and choose a contact.
