iPhone Fundamentals: Playing Songs and Podcasts

Learn how to play music on your iPhone.













Accessing Music on iPhone:
  1. To access music on your iPhone, tap on iPod logo which is located on the bottom right corner.
  2. You should see a the following options on the bottom of the next screen
    • Playlists
    • Artists
    • Songs
    • Videos
    • More
  3. Tap any one of the above options or tap More to browse Albums, Audiobooks, Compilations, Composers, Genres, or Podcasts.

To play a song, just tap on the name of the song.

Playback Controls:
  • Pause:  Tap  or press the mic button on the iPhone headset
  • Resume: Tap  or press the mic button on the iPhone headset
  • Increase or Decrease Volume: Use the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone or drag the volume slider
  • Restart Song or chapter on Podcast: Tap
  • Skip to the previous song:  Tap  twice
  • Skip to the next song: Tap  or press mic button twice quickly on the iPhone headset
  • Rewind or Fast Forward the song:  Touch and hold or
  • View tracks on the album:  Tap  and Tap on any song to play it
