Palm Device: Installing Third Party Applications using Addit.
Simple ways to install multiple applications on your Palm device, besides the default ones like Date Book (Calendar), Address Book (Contacts), To Do List, Memo Pad, Calculator etc.
| When you download software, you may notice that the files may have a PRC or a PDB extension in the filename. PRC is Palm OS program files and PDB is database used by PRC files. The software may also come with an installer (EXE extension) that guides you through the installation process and automatically transfers the PRC and PDB files to your device when you synchronize. |  |
Addit simplifies the procedure of adding software to your device. First of all, Addit transfers your selections during a HotSync operation with your computer. The next time you perform a HotSync operation, Addit installs the software on your device. If additional PC components are required, an email, with detailed instructions, will be sent to you.
