Synchronize Microsoft Outlook and Install Palm Desktop

Chapura PocketMirror conduit software for Microsoft Outlook is usually included in your Palm Desktop Software Installation CD. The Web downloadable version of Palm Desktop software 4.1 does not include Chapura PocketMirror conduit software for Microsoft Outlook synchronization.

If you had earlier synchronized your data to Microsoft Outlook, the Chapura  PocketMirror software was automatically installed onto your computer. If you want to upgrade your existing Palm Desktop Software components with the 4.1 version and synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, do the following:

During installation of Palm Desktop Software 4.1, the set up detects any other third party conduits in use, and you have the option to:

Keep the third party conduit(s) as your default.
Restore all conduits to use with Palm Desktop.

To continue synchronizing to Microsoft Outlook, select the First option.
Note: Existing mail conduits (from Palm or other third-party software providers) are retained during the installation process.
