iPhone Auto-Lock Feature
Auto-lock is a built in feature on your iPhone. Here's how you set up this feature.
If your iPhone is idle for more than a minute, it gets automatically locked and turns off the display.However you will continue to receive calls.
The default delay setting for auto-locking is 1 minute on iPhone. To change or to completely turn off the feature:
Note: Even if you have the auto-lock feature turned on, you can still go ahead and press Sleep/Wake button to lock your iPhone.
The default delay setting for auto-locking is 1 minute on iPhone. To change or to completely turn off the feature:
- Tap the Settings icon in the home screen.

- Tap on General.

- On the General settings screen, tap on Auto-Lock, select the best time option as desired.

- If you select Never option, you need to manually lock your iPhone by pressing the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your iPhone.
Note: Even if you have the auto-lock feature turned on, you can still go ahead and press Sleep/Wake button to lock your iPhone.
