While it's no iPod, Sony Ericsson's W810 does a more-than-adequate job as both a cell phone and a multimedia player.

The W810 is a candy bar-style standard cell phone, and at first glance its dimensions of 3.9 by 1.8 by 0.8 inches make it look somewhat boxy

While the LG Prada is a gorgeous phone with a stunning touch screen display, its simple feature set may not justify its hefty price tag. That said, if you want one of the most fashionable phones available, the LG Prada is definitely the phone to get.

It looks like Apple's upcoming iPhone and has a lot of the same features, but it'll appeal primarily to the very well heeled which is just the way Prada wants it. It doesn't match up to the iPhone's expected PC-syncing capabilities, but it's still an elegant, unusual, and powerful handheld.

Despite some minor issues, the RIM BlackBerry 8800 offers mobile professionals a well-rounded smart phone with added multimedia functions, GPS, and push-to-talk capabilities. That said, messaging remains its forte.

A tremendously effective messaging phone, the 8800 adds a trackball and music player to the traditional Blackberry form factor. But the lack of 3G high-speed wireless will be an issue for Web surfers and laptop modem users.

For a long time, BlackBerry devices were seen primarily as business tools, but the consumer-friendly BlackBerry Pearl shed that image. Now the BlackBerry 8800 combines a sleek look and a bevy of multimedia features reminiscent of the Pearl's with a full QWERTY keyboard. The 8800 retains RIM's business focus, however, by leaving off extras such as the camera found on the Pearl.

With a 5-megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities, and GPS, there's no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most feature-packed smart phones to date, but poor battery life and sluggish performance makes it hard to justify the high price tag.

With a 5-megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities, and GPS, there's no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most feature-packed smart phones to date, but poor battery life and sluggish performance makes it hard to justify the high price tag.

The N95 is so loaded with high-end features that it sometimes seems as if it dropped out of a time warp from the future. Perhaps its astronomically high $749 price won't be worth much in future dollars, but right now, that is a lot to pay for a cell phone. Still, for power users, it is worth the extra expense. subscription. Oh, and it also makes phone calls.

This is a feature packed phone with something for everybody in it. As seen in other reviews as well as mine, the menus are slow, big camera shutter lag, GPS spotty and no querty makes texting cumbersome. Phone pricey but price coming down quickly. The stereo speakers rival any pocket radio on the market. Despite the limitations, this is a great phone and worth the money.
