AT & T/Cingular Mobile Email Addresses for Messaging
You can get emails in the form of SMS on your phone straight from the Internet. All you need to know is your cell phone's email address.
A Text message is limited to 160 characters. If you send an email which is more than 160 characters, it is automatically split into multiple messages and sent to the phone. Each split of 160 characters will be considered as a message and billed.
Here's a list of mobile E-mail address for different kinds of messaging.
Text Messaging (SMS):
your10digitmobilenumber@txt.att.net: All the text messages can be sent to this address from your internet email account. You will be billed as per for SMS rates.
- For Ex: if your 10 digit mobile number is (123)-456-7890 then the Text Messaging address is 1234567890@txt.att.net.
Multimedia Messaging (MMS):
your10digitmobilenumber@mms.att.net: All the pictures and videos can be sent to this address from your internet email account. You will be billed as per your MMS rates.
- For Ex: if your 10 digit mobile number is (123)-456-7890 then the Multimedia Messaging address is 1234567890@mms.att.net.
MEdia Net:
medianetusername@mywireless.att.com: All the email messages can be sent to this address from your internet email account. Please not that the received emails can only be accessed using MEdia Net on your wireless phone. Have you registered with MEdia Net? if not, click here to do so.
Xpress Messaging:
alias@imwireless.att.com: This service is exclusively for AT & T RIM BlackBerry users. This service is currently available only to selected corporate users.
RIM BlackBerry:
username@mycingular.blackberry.net: All the emails can be sent to this address from your internet email account provided the Blackberry user should have registered with BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) account.
