Nokia 6265: Web browser to surf the Internet.

Surf the internet on your Nokia 6265 with the browser. Scan this item for the browser option.

 Your phone has an innate browser that you can use to connect to exclusive services on the Internet.

The Web browser on your phone can display WAP-based matter.

To Sign on to the Mobile Internet:
  • From the screen, Choose Menu.
  • Click on Mobile web.
After a short wait, the phone tries to connect to the internet service provider's home page. You will get an error message if the phone is not configured for browsing . Get in touch with your internet provider to ensure that your phone is configured.

Phone keys:
  • To surf the WAP site, navigate up or down.
  • Choose a highlighted item.
  • To type in the text, press # to switch text input modes, and then press 0-9.
  • To type in exclusive characters, press *.
To Receive a call while online:

Depending on your internet provider, you may be able to take a voice call while using the WAP browser.
  • Press the Call key, to take the incoming call.
  • Press the End key, to refuse the incoming call. 
After you end your call, the mobile Internet connection automatically re-starts.
Note: If your internet provider does not support incoming calls while browsing, they are automatically diverted to voice mail.

To Make an emergency call while online:

You can end your data connection and make an emergency call.
Follow these steps:
  • Press the end key, to end your mobile Internet connection.
  • Press the end key as many times as required to clear the display and set the phone for calls.
  • Type in the emergency number for your current area.
  • Press the call key.
To Clear the cache and disconnect:

A cache is a memory site to store information temporarily. We advice you to clear the cache after every use if you have surfed for private data that require codes.

To clear the cache while in the browser menu:
  • Choose Navigate and Click on Advanced. Click on Clear.
  • Highlight and Press Cache and Press Clear.
The cache also empties when you keep the end key pressed to shut off your device.
Press the End key, to shut your mobile Internet connection while browsing.
