Configuring and Defining E-mail Settings on your Nokia N71 PC Suite

Before you send, receive, retrieve, reply to, and forward e-mail, you must perform the steps given in this section.


  • Configure an Internet access point (IAP) correctly

  • To create a new access point, press the Menu key

  • Select Tools and go to Settings

  • Select Connection and press on Access points

  • Select Options

  • Click on New access point

  • Follow the instructions given to you by your service provider

  • Define your e-mail settings correctly

  • If you select Mailbox in the Messaging main view and have not set up your e-mail account

  • To start creating the e-mail settings with the mailbox guide, select Start

  • You must have a separate e-mail account

  • Follow the instructions given by your remote mailbox and Internet service provider (ISP)
