Checking currently active data connections on the Nokia N71 PC Suite.

This article explains that how to check which data connections are active on the Nokia N71.

You may have diverse data connections turned on when you are using your device in GSM and UMTS networks.
  • Go to Menu.
  • Select Connect.

Choose Conn. mgr. for:
  • To have a look at the position of multiple data connections.
  • To have a look at the details on the quantity of data sent and received.
  • To have a look at the details on the number of data connections.

When you open Conn. mgr., you can see the following:
  • Open data connections: data calls and packet data connections.
  • The position of each connection.
  • The quantity of data uploaded and downloaded for each connection (shown for packet data connections only).
  • The extent of each connection (shown for data calls only).
Note: The definite time charged for calls by your network provider may vary, depending on network features, rounding off for billing etc.

To switch off a connection, do the following:
  • Navigate to a connection.
  • Press Options and Press Disconnect.
To shut all presently active connections, do the following:
  • Press Options.
  • Press Disconnect all.
To look at the details of a connection, do the following:
  • Navigate to a connection.
  • Press Options.
  • Press Details.
